Our Pardubice case study at Metro Online 2019

Our Head of Partnership relations Nina Osypova and Hanwha regional partner Jaroslav Novovesky attended one of the largest technology conferences, Metro Online 2019, in Slovakia (Poprad).

During the event, entrepreneurs, representatives of municipalities, and companies are looking for ways to help the younger generation succeed in the technological 21st century.

One of the main topics was how to use AI technologies for large cities, in particular for the citizen’s safety/comfort and automation of vital processes.

For example, municipalities are looking for urban traffic management solutions. Using the Pardubice case study (Czech Republic), Jaroslav Novovesky demonstrated in real time how the Hanwha ANPR camera system connected to the FF Group cloud web-service controls urban traffic flows (online vehicle recognition, average speed measurement and generation of a violators list for police).

In addition, participants could appreciate the latest FF Group novelty – the vehicle make and model recognition. The presentation was focused on municipal representatives, in particular, in the context of the programs urban implementation (access control to the city center, traffic and speed control on the roads, etc.).
