Use case for monitoring traffic in Bologna

How can you plan and optimally distribute the load on the road network? This is a new case for monitoring traffic in small and medium-sized cities using Bologna as an example by using a monitoring system building on Hanwha Techwin Europe cameras and several softwares such as FF Group ANPR solution.

It is sufficient to set up a system that controls 12 main entrances to the city (Hanwha cameras with FF Group’s embedded software), and other key city points.

The system uses 89 Hanwha cameras in total with different. It generates all the information about urban mobility in real-time. Recognized vehicle data, including alerts about traffic violations and illegal parking, are received by the police control center.

New traffic monitoring systems are increasingly being built on on-camera (EDGE) solutions. Evidence of this is the Bologna case. Read more via link
